Content Editing Guide
This guide is for content editors who build and maintain the website in the Umbraco backoffice.
Content Tree
uTPro organises content around a shared root and per-site nodes:
- Global Root β container, no URL
- Folder Sites β Home β the site root (Page Home)
- Folder Navigation Link β holds the menu
- Folder Settings β favicon, logo, sitemap settings

Page Types
| Doc type | Use for |
|---|---|
| Page Home | The single site root with navigation config |
| Page Standard | Every normal content page |
Both page types render three Block Grid areas: Top Component (inherited), Content (per page), Bottom Component (inherited).
Building a Page with Block Grid
- Open a page β Content property (Block Grid editor)
- Click Add content and pick a component
- Fill fields, then Save or Save and publish
- Reorder blocks by dragging; delete via context menu

Navigation Menu
The header menu is editor-built under Home β Folder Navigation Link β Items property. Each entry supports: Link, CSS classes, hidden toggle, children (multi-level), member-aware visibility.
SEO per Page
Each page has SEO fields via UmbracoSeoVisualizer: Title, Description, Keywords, Social Share Image, Open Graph, Twitter Card, Sitemap controls (noindex/nofollow, change frequency, priority).
Multilingual Content
Configure languages under Settings β Languages. Set Culture and Hostnames on the Home node. Edit each page's variant per language. The language switcher appears automatically when multiple languages are active.
